Website Design for Small Business
Affordable, Mobile-Friendly, and SEO-Optimized
Web Design Services starting at $99 per month with unlimited updates
A strong website is essential for any business that wants to be found online and provide accurate information to potential customers. Your website is where people learn who you are, what you do, and why they should choose your business. It is also one of the easiest ways to build credibility and support long term growth.
At Inspiration Media Solutions, I create WordPress websites that are mobile responsive, SEO friendly, and easy for your customers to navigate. Every site includes unlimited copy updates, monthly security and plugin maintenance, and reliable customer support.
I also help write the content for your website, taking the pressure off your shoulders. I review your social media for usable photos and supplement with professional stock imagery when needed. My goal is to build a site that answers the questions your audience is already asking and makes it simple for them to connect with your business.

Website FAQs
Why do I need a website when I have a Facebook page?
Yes, yes, 110% yes, your business absolutely needs a professional website! Regardless of how great your Facebook page is, your business needs a site. It’s the hub of your online presence where potential customers can go to get all the information they need about your business. Moreover, a website boosts the credibility of your business. Have you ever searched for a business only to come up empty-handed? Did you turn to a competitor instead? THAT is why you need a website.
Or how about this – Everyone remembers Myspace, right? How it was a big thing? And now? It’s gone. Yes… that could happen to Facebook too. And then where would you be?
Do I own my website if I stop the monthly plan?
The monthly plan covers hosting, maintenance, security updates, and ongoing support, all of which keep your site running and protected. If you decide to discontinue the plan, you have a couple of options.
You can buy out your site with a one-time buyout fee (based on the size of your site) and take full ownership. From there, your site moves to a simple annual hosting fee that keeps everything live and maintained. If you would rather not keep it going, the site comes down when the plan ends.
Prefer to own from the start? I also build websites as a one-time purchase starting around $1,700, based on the size of the site, which is a great fit for businesses that want to own outright rather than pay monthly. Purchased sites include an annual hosting fee to keep everything live and maintained.
Not sure which model makes more sense for you? Let’s talk it through.
Is my website accessible / ADA compliant?
Accessibility matters, and I build every site with it in mind, using the WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines as the benchmark (the same standard courts and regulators point to). In practice that means things like clear structure, alt text on images, keyboard navigation, and strong color contrast.
One honest note: accessibility is ongoing, not a one-time checkbox, and no developer or tool can promise permanent legal compliance. The guidelines evolve, and your site changes every time new content goes up. I also steer clear of the “instant compliance” accessibility widgets, because they don’t hold up and can actually invite complaints. Real, built-in accessibility is what protects you.
For a formal audit, certification, or anything on the legal side, you’ll want a dedicated accessibility professional or attorney. Keeping a site compliant as laws and content change is ultimately the business owner’s responsibility.
Do you work with businesses outside Vermont?
Yes. While I’m based in Saint Albans, Vermont and have deep roots here, I work with small businesses across the United States. Most of what I do translates seamlessly to remote collaboration – websites, branding, graphic design, social media, and digital advertising can all be handled without being in the same room. If you’re not local but like what you see, I’d love to hear from you.

“Kim and Inspiration media Solutions were amazing to work with when building our new website. We gave her examples of what we were looking for, gave her the content/photos and in less than a week she already had a demo site for us to review. Since the site has been live Kim has been very quick to respond to our changes to the site. Highly recommend!”
